Response to Your Book Linked Here:
For my response I drew a book cover. You can see a picture of it below.

Exploration for The Month Linked Here:
For my exploration I decided to explore the books vs movies debate. Is watching a movie that is based on a book better than reading the book? To help me decide about this issue, I made a pros and cons list.

Pros for books:
1. Books provide more information and details about the characters or topic.
2. Books are educational and are good for your mind.
3. Books are fun to read, and your parents won't say no to a book!

Cons for books:
1. Books are sometimes not as entertaining as movies.
2. They can get dirty and fall apart.
3. They are more challenging to finish as it takes longer to read a page than to watch a screen.

Pros for movies:
1. Movies can be entertaining and fun.
2. You can eat without worrying about getting the screen dirty.
3. Movies help bring the visual of a book to life.

Cons for movies:
1. Movies don't always follow the book story line.
2. Bad actors can ruin a good story.
3. Movies may sometimes show images of things that you don't want to see.

Based on this I think that reading a book is better. Books allow you to go on an imagination adventure! Books can be more descriptive of the characters' emotions and feelings and in this way provide a lot more details than movies. Books are fun and educational and will score you bonus points with your parents ( wink wink to you guys )! Reading is my favorite pastime and I hope that you discover the joys of books too.
