The BCS Garden Project, started by the Cook/Lowery Team, is all about giving the garden at school a new start. We see the garden as an opportunity to improve the school, encourage students to eat healthier foods, and to learn about planting and growing food.

We received a grant from the Birmingham Education Foundation to help us get started with our project. We bought tools, supplies and plants/seeds. Below are photos of our progress:

After conducting an experiment including 54 students, and two days, we have come up with the conclusion that eating healthy improves the scores of students. Presently, we are trying to raise the money we need, to get started. All of our groups are working hard to help. Including, our Pin Art Group, who work on creative pins, we guarantee you won't find anywhere else.
